In order to promote Neuro-Urology around the world, the Neuro-Urology Promotion Committee of the International Continence Society (ICS) has decided to organize a “Neurogenic Bladder Day” course.
We are proud that Florence was chosen for this comprehensive course on Neuro-Urology.
The target group for this course is primarily general urologists, geriatricians, rehab and urogynecologists with interest in Neuro-Urology.
However, we believe in the importance of a team group comprising other health professional figures and for this reason we also invite nurses and therapists to participate as well.
The “Neurogenic Bladder day course”, will deal with neuro-physiology and neuro-pathophysiology of the lower urinary tract, the diagnostic workup of patients with (or suspected) neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction and the current treatment strategies in this population
These topics are of primary interest for all healthcare professionals working in neuro-urology field.
Particularly attention will be paid on different neurological diseases such as spinal cord lesions, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and stroke, but special topics will be addressed also according to the audience’s demand.
